Little People First Aid came about as the founder Tracey Chapman observed that there was a need at community level for parents and carers to have access to specialised paediatric first aid and CPR courses, run by specialist trainers. As a trained and active paramedic, business owner Tracey Chapman attends frequent calls to homes of injured or sick children. She is regularly confronted with distressed parents, keen to know if there was anything else that they could have done to help their child. There usually was!
After 11 years of such experiences, with innumerable parents and carers expressing sincere need for and desire for such a service, the idea of Little People First Aid was born.
Our vision at Little People First Aid is to facilitate parents, grandparents, and caregivers to be proficient in all aspects of paediatric first aid and resuscitation.
If you ever have any ideas or suggestions for needs we could be meeting, please don't hesitate to call. We value your input.
